How online DVD rental works
1. Click through and sign up to an online DVD rental service
2. Pick the films you want to watch and add them to your online list
3. The films are then sent to you by post - the number sent depends on the plan you pick
4. Watch the films whenever you want as there are no late fees
5. When you're done just post them back and the next film on your list will be sent

How to get your free DVD rental trial
Visit our homepage to see all of the free trials available. We recommend LOVEFiLM's free trial as it comes with a free voucher and lasts for 30 days. When you've picked a free trial, just click through and sign up. You'll need your credit or debit card but you won't be charged until your free trial has ended. Signing up is simple, all you need to do is give you address and card details. It should only take a couple of minutes.
Once you've signed up, you'll need to add films to your list. All you have to do is browse the providers website for things that you want to watch and click to "rent now" to add the films to your rental list. We recommend that you put at least ten DVDs on your list to make sure that you get sent something quickly. You can also prioritise the items on your list to say which you want to watch first. The DVD rental provider will do their best to send you the ones that you've prioritised first.
If you decide that you want to cancel your free trial all you have to do is ring the DVD rental provider and tell them that you'd like to cancel. They'll ask you to make sure that all of your discs are returned and then the service will be cancelled. You need to make sure that the discs are returned within the free trial period otherwise you may still be charged. If you pick a one month free trial we recommend that you cancel in week three so that you have enough time to send the discs back. A common mistake that people make is sending the discs back and then ringing to cancel afterwards.
